We provide enriching experiences to enhance learning and offer cultural opportunities for our children to gain knowledge and skills to help them succeed in any sphere of life also to know places in our local area that they can visit with their families.
Some of the enrichment opportunities we offer are:
- Battle of the Bands – to develop language and performance skills.
- Blackpool Zoo – learning about animals around the world.
- Choral Speaking – performing at Oldham Colosseum in front of an audience
- Beach – learn about the environment and British traditions
- Local places of culture: Museums, art gallery, libraries, theatre.
- Local places to visit: Tandle Hills, Heaton Park, Portland Basin, Chadderton Hall Park.
- Castleshaw Centre residential visit for Year 6.
In addition to visits, we welcome visitors into school to broaden children’s knowledge and add other perspectives to their learning. We also run many clubs including football, dodgeball, netball, art, 
games, computing, gardening etc.
